About LONGWELL: Ningbo Longwell Electric Technology Co., Ltd.
LONGWELL is the brand of Ningbo Longwell Electric Technology Co., Ltd., a blower company founded in 1990 in Yuyao, Ningbo, China. We define the blower, own the drawing, and supply it under our own label to OEM equipment makers and importers in more than 30 countries.
This site covers the volute blower range: forward-curved squirrel cage blowers, single inlet blowers, EC and DC blowers, gas and combustion blowers, and blower wheels supplied as loose parts.
What we make
- Forward-curved squirrel cage blowers in AC, EC and DC, single and dual inlet, with volute.
- Single inlet centrifugal blowers for air handling inside cabinets and packaged units.
- EC centrifugal blowers with 0-10 V or PWM speed control. Against a measured duty cycle, EC drives give about 30% lower consumption at part load, confirmed against the load profile.
- DC brushless blowers at 24, 48 and 310 V DC, with 12 V on the micro frames, for battery and low-voltage equipment.
- Gas and combustion blowers for premix boilers, water heaters, pellet stoves and burners.
- Blower wheels and impellers as loose parts, in steel, aluminium and reinforced plastic.

Who we build for
Our customers are equipment makers and importers, not end users. Typical projects are air purifiers, heat recovery and fresh air units, fan coil units, gas boilers and water heaters, electric heaters, refrigeration cabinets and electronics enclosures. Most enquiries start with a duty point and an envelope rather than a model number, so a first answer usually comes back as two or three candidate models with curves attached.

How we work
LONGWELL owns the drawing. Every model in this catalogue has a LONGWELL drawing, a LONGWELL specification and LONGWELL acceptance criteria. That is what stays constant for you across a product life cycle, and it is what lets us change a bearing, a winding or a moulding without changing the part you designed in.
In our own plant in Yuyao
Cross-flow fans are made in our own plant, to LONGWELL drawings, with our own moulds and impeller tooling: blade insertion, roll riveting, dynamic balancing, assembly into the volute, label and carton.
The motor winding line is also ours: automatic winding, coil insertion, inter-turn insulation test, argon-arc welding of lead wires, rotor press-fit and magnetising. That line was audited during the 2021 ETL factory audit. Photos of both lines are on the factory page.
In qualified partner plants
The rest of the range is engineered and specified by LONGWELL and built to LONGWELL drawings in qualified partner plants. That covers forward-curved AC, EC and DC blowers, backward-curved plug fans, DC blowers, gas and combustion blowers, commercial blowers, axial and duct fans, fan coil units, and loose blower wheels. Those parts are inspected to LONGWELL standards, labelled and shipped under LONGWELL, and the warranty is ours. The full sourcing statement is on the home page.
Airflow, static pressure, voltage and control mode are enough for a first answer.
Testing and certificates
Quality equipment in use includes dynamic balancing machines, an end-of-line electrical safety and run test bench covering earth continuity, dielectric withstand, insulation resistance and run, a high and low temperature chamber, and ageing test equipment. Air performance is tested to the AMCA 210 method. Sound is measured in a semi-anechoic room of 4.0 x 4.0 x 3.0 m, calibration report SSD202500326.
